Privacy Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026.
Turn Games has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. There is nothing here to create a profile with, and the site does not ask you for a name, an email address, or anything else about you.
What is stored in your browser
Four small values, kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They never leave it except as described under multiplayer below, and clearing your browser data removes them permanently.
turngames.deck— which card design you chose.turngames.board— which table colour you chose.turngames.name— the display name you typed when joining a table, if you typed one.turngames.token— a random identifier generated on your device. It exists so that if your connection drops mid-game you get your own seat back rather than someone else's. It is not linked to you, and a new one is generated if you clear your browser data.
Multiplayer tables
When you join a multiplayer table, the display name you chose and the state of that game are held on Cloudflare's servers for as long as the table is open. Other players at the table can see your display name and your plays — that is what a card game is. Tables are deleted shortly after everyone leaves, and the game is not recorded or kept afterwards.
Solo games against bots run entirely in your browser. Nothing about them is sent anywhere.
Analytics
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which games get played. It is a privacy-focused product: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. It reports aggregate numbers — how many people opened Hearts today — not individuals.
Advertising
Turn Games is free and is funded by advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, and may use information about your visits to this and other sites to show ads relevant to you.
You control this. On your first visit you are asked whether to allow personalised advertising, and you can change that choice at any time. Google also lets you manage ad personalisation directly, for every site that uses it, at Google Ads Settings, and you can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Declining personalised ads does not remove ads, and does not change the games in any way.
Children
Turn Games is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because the site holds no account and no personal profile, there is nothing to export or delete on request — the data described above is either in your own browser, where you can clear it yourself, or is a game table that deletes itself when everyone leaves. If you have a question about any of this, write to hello@turngames.io.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
