About Turn Games

Turn Games is a small site for playing classic card games in a browser. Nine of them so far: Hearts, Spades, Euchre, Cribbage, Go Fish, Crazy Eights, Klondike, FreeCell and Spider. No account, no download, no install prompt. You pick a game and you are playing inside a second.

Why it exists

Most free card game sites have grown into something else — a launcher, a daily reward, a shop, three pop-ups before the deal. The games underneath still work, but you have to get past a lot to reach them. Turn Games is an attempt to keep only the part people actually came for.

That shapes most of the decisions here:

Who makes it

Turn Games is built and run by one person as an independent project. It is funded by advertising, which is what keeps it free and account-free. Ads are kept to the edges of the page and never on top of a game in progress.

Getting in touch

Corrections to the rules, bugs, and feature requests are all welcome — see the contact page. Rules disputes in particular are worth writing in about: regional variations are real, and where a game has more than one common scoring convention the rules pages try to say so.
